Class write up: “Tea expert and Author Linda Thomas Jones of “Tea With Betty” is our guest instructor. Learn what tea is (and isn’t) and the major types of teas and brewing methods.  Each item you make will be paired with freshly steeped whole leaf teas.

Chef Katie Averill will then instruct on the cooking side of things.  We will bake, cook, tea pair and sit down for Afternoon Tea at the appropriate hour at the end of class.”

  2. I would be very tempted if I lived anywhere near you – that photograph at the top is wonderful! I’ve never tried making lemon curd and although I have the recipe in your beautiful book I could use some tuitition. I don’t know why I’m nervous about it. The taking things home reminds me of one of the things I enjoyed about school, i.e. cookery classes where we got to eat things at the end. Who wouldn’t want to go to a class where you got to take home quiche, scones and lemon curd?
